Cost of treatments
Orthodontic treatment rates vary according to the malocclusion, the duration of the treatment and the technique used.
It is therefore impossible for an orthodontist to set you a price by phone without first making a diagnosis.
It may happen for some patients that several solutions are possible, thus changing the duration of the treatment and therefore the price.
We therefore invite patients in need of treatment, or even curious to have advice or information from a specialist, to make an appointment by phone at +334 97 06 53 52 or by email at info@orthodontiste-cannes.com.
The price of the 1st consultation is 23 euros, it is fully reimbursed by the social security.
Patient benefiting from the CMU must bring a certificate certifying this management, if they do not wish to advance care.
Reimbursement by the Health Insurance
Orthodontic treatments or dentofacial orthopaedic treatments (ODF) are covered by the Health Insurance with the prior agreement of your health insurance fund and if they are started before 16e birthday.
Exceptionally, children over 16 years of age may be covered by the Health Insurance for one semester of treatment, prior to surgical intervention on the jaws. This semester is not renewable.
Rates and reimbursement for orthodontic treatments
Orthodontic treatments are reimbursed at 70% (acts below 120 euros) or 100% (acts above 120 euros) on the basis of so-called “liability” rates, very often below their real cost. Indeed, unlike consultations and dental care, orthodontic treatment is free.
Note, however, that the dentist is required to set his fees “with tact and measure” and to inform you in advance by means of a written estimate.
